NEW INDIA ASSURANCE BIDS ADIEU TO Mr. V.V.RAGHAVAN, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

New India Assurance Company Oman has announced a significant transition in the Company. Mr. Gaurav Sharma has taken charge of COO from the incumbent Mr. V.V. Raghavan who has completed his tenure of 4 years. The company has expressed its sincere gratitude for the invaluable leadership of Mr. V.V. Raghavan during the last four years. He has attained various milestones during his service in the Sultanate
of Oman.

Mr. Gaurav Sharma brings with him a wealth of experience, and his knowledge and fresh perspective will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and success of New India Assurance in Oman. Mr. Sharma is a distinguished Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India. He has worked in major metro cities in various capacities with exposure to retail clients as Branch in charge in Delhi and large/mega clients during his tenure at Mumbai. His journey is a testament to dedication and expertise.

Mr. V.V. Raghavan thanked and conveyed his sincere gratitude for all the support he had got from various stakeholders, and regulator ‘The Capital Market Authority, Sultanate of Oman’. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed business partner, M/s. Abdul Aziz & Brothers LLC and the chairman, Mr. Majid Abdul Rahim Jaffer for the support he receives during his tenure. He also expressed his gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said and the people of Oman for their warmth, generosity and genuine spirit.
